From dd461ddca97601629b949140ef6457fce52c8e60 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: =?UTF-8?q?Jo=C3=ABl?= Date: Tue, 30 Jun 2026 18:03:47 +0200 Subject: [PATCH] fix(desktop): make module location renderers interactive on macOS The macOS frameless-titlebar CSS marks .mx_RoomView_wrapper as a -webkit-app-region drag handle, which swallows all mouse/keyboard input for its descendants. Module location renderers (the HealthChat Angular custom elements like hc-user-browser / hc-admin-dashboard) are mounted there but match none of the no-drag exclusions, so their inputs and buttons were dead in the desktop app while working in the web app. Exclude the room-view wrapper's direct children from the drag region so the mounted page receives pointer events; the existing .mx_RoomView child and the ::before drag strips are unaffected. --- apps/desktop/src/macos-titlebar.ts | 6 ++++++ 1 file changed, 6 insertions(+) diff --git a/apps/desktop/src/macos-titlebar.ts b/apps/desktop/src/macos-titlebar.ts index b42338ac3f..f3240ab1de 100644 --- a/apps/desktop/src/macos-titlebar.ts +++ b/apps/desktop/src/macos-titlebar.ts @@ -106,6 +106,12 @@ export function setupMacosTitleBar(window: BrowserWindow): void { iframe { -webkit-app-region: no-drag; } + /* HealthChat: exclude the page mounted in the room-view wrapper (incl. module + location renderers like the Angular custom elements) so their inputs/buttons + receive mouse events instead of being swallowed by the window-drag region */ + .mx_RoomView_wrapper > * { + -webkit-app-region: no-drag; + } /* Add a bar above room header + left panel */
