* Remove the now unused setting to disable in-app notifications.
* Move visible account settings into AccountSettings.
Have ignored enableNotifications for now as that will require reworking the NotificationManager.
* Allow different sounds to be selected for each account.
* Move defaultNotificationTone into AccountSettings.
* Remove the dynamic member lookup from UserSettings in favour of nested access.
* Remove forwarding methods from UserSettings.
* Update the Enterprise submodule.
* Present the multi-account announcement when nothing else is showing
The user session flow owns onboarding, verification and settings, so it presents the announcement in the tab sheet slot with the lowest priority: once the verification state is known, and whenever onboarding, settings or a verification sheet is dismissed. Routes and sign-out dismiss settings without triggering it, and it is marked as seen when presented.
* Show the multi-account announcement on the home screen
Following review, the announcement is a best-effort sheet on the home
screen instead of a UserSessionFlowCoordinator state. It's presented when
the room list appears with the flag on, the announcement armed and the
session verified, and counts as seen once its content appears.
- Restore UserSessionFlowCoordinator to develop.
- HomeScreenViewModel presents the announcement through a binding and
waits for a known verification state, so it never competes with the
identity confirmation onboarding.
- Add account only closes the sheet until the add account flow exists.
- Rename MultiAccountAnnouncementScreen to MultiAccountAnnouncementView
and drop its unused coordinator and view model protocol.
- Size the sheet from the measured navigation bar height and match the
Figma spacing; the hard-coded 44pt pushed the content under the button.
* Present the multi-account announcement from the home screen view model
The announcement no longer needs its own view model: the view takes the
home screen's context and presents through a boolean binding, like the
home screen banners.
- Drop MultiAccountAnnouncementViewModel and its models. The view sends
home screen actions to close or add an account and builds its own
attributed subtitle.
- Check the verification state when the room list appears instead of
waiting for it. Restored sessions already know it by then, unverified
ones get the identity confirmation cover first and the room list
appears again once it's dismissed. Nothing is left subscribed, so the
sheet can no longer turn up later wherever the user is.
On a cold launch the home screen appeared just before the cached rooms
published, briefly showing skeletons that were immediately replaced.
The home screen now starts in a new awaitingCachedRooms mode, keeping
the list blank while a cached room list is about to publish and falling
back to the skeletons after 500ms. Without a cache the skeletons show
straight away as before.
The room list keeps showing skeletons while the provider reports loaded
but no summaries have published yet, to avoid flashing an empty list
before the first batch lands. That guard also fired when a filter
(chips, space or search) legitimately matched nothing, leaving the home
screen on placeholders forever instead of showing the empty filter
state.
Remove some redundant injections when passed alongside a user session too.

We decided against changing how unread activity is rendered in the room list, so the experiment and its developer option are no longer needed.
we have also added a notification settings entry for hiding the room list gray dots.
The room list now always shows the unread notification count for highlighted rooms
and the app icon badge always uses the SDK's own unread notification count, both in
the app and in the NSE. The push payload's unread count is no longer used, so its
UNNotificationContent helper and user info key have been removed along with the
setting, its developer options toggle and the feature-disabled unit test.
The room summary provider subscription only delivers its current state through an
async main queue hop, which can end up queued behind the first render. On a warm
launch, where the cached rooms have already been published before the home screen
exists, that leaves the skeletons up for the whole duration.
Read the current state at the end of init instead, alongside the rooms which were
already being read there.
The room summary provider publishes its loading state and its rooms through two
independent streams, so the state can report loaded before the first summaries
have been applied. Flipping the room list mode to .rooms at that point renders
an empty list until the summaries arrive.
Combine the two publishers into a single subscription so that the mode and the
rooms are always updated from the same pair of values, and keep the skeletons up
until the rooms have published. Only the initial transition is held back, an
empty list later on is a filter or a search result and must not send the mode
back to the skeletons.
* Update the SDK and hook up the status from Room Heroes.
Also start requesting profiles via sss when the feature flag is enabled.
* Add support for subscribing to your own profile.
* Add a developer flag for the search tab
Introduces a globalSearchEnabled user preference (off by default) with a toggle in Developer Options, used to gate the new search experience.
* Support search role tabs in the tab coordinator
Migrates the NavigationTabCoordinator to SwiftUI's value-based Tab API and adds an isSearch option so a tab can adopt the iOS 26 .search role, which detaches it into the trailing search button in the tab bar.
* Moves room search to a new screen
Adds a new screen that filters the alternate room summary provider as you type, shows an empty state, and lists matching rooms with their matrix identifier. Supports hardware keyboard selection (arrow keys to move through results, return to open) by reaching into the system search field.
* Present search in a dedicated tab
Adds the search tab to the chats flow on iOS 26 when the flag is enabled, rendered as the detached .search role button. The Cmd+K shortcut now selects this tab, and the home screen's inline search is hidden while the tab is available.
* Remove the old global search screen
The dedicated search tab replaces the Cmd+K floating window, so the GlobalSearchScreen, its window plumbing in the WindowManager, and its presentation in the chats flow are all removed.
* Create AnalyticsServiceProtocol and conform AnalyticsService
* Replace AnalyticsService properties and arguments with AnalyticsServiceProtocol
* Inline AnalyticsServiceMock replacing old mock
* handle more complex AnalyticsServiceMock callsites
* move documentation from AnalyticsService to AnalyticsServiceProtocol
1. I removed the grey dots for when there is activity in rooms set to mentions or mute.
2. For all unread rooms, I made the message preview text bold for better legibility
3. For rooms with no unreads, I made the font weight regular, again for legibility
We have also mergeg the new room list activity rendering with the existing feature hide unread badge feature flag and provide 3 variations: current production behavior, no badge but bolding, and no bolding and no badge
Once the app starts the WindowManager is configured with SwiftUI's environment OpenWindowAction. It can then be used to register coordinators (that provide the toPresentable view) and an optional flow coordinator (as most of the screens are part of a flow, especially rooms).
Once a coordinator is registed, the WindowManager invokes the OpenWindowAction which in turn makes the Application call its newly introduced WindowManagerWindowType WindowGroup's block to instantiate a new visual window rooting that view.
The WindowManager is also responsible for wrapping the presentable in a disappearance block and clean up the coordinator stack.

* Add support for SpaceFilters on the SpaceServiceProxy level and a screen that renders them
* Add aliases to a couple of space room mocks
* Update translations and related snapshots
* Add a feature flag for space filters
* Add a new room summary provider filter that takes a list of room identifiers next to the normal state filters
This will take the SpaceFilter's descendants and combine it with the normal filters to reduce the rooms shown
* Add a new space filter button to the home screen and link it to the SpaceFiltersScreen and the actual RoomSummaryProvider room list filters
* Bump the RustSDK to v26.01.20-2 for SpaceFilter support.
* Add a cancellation button to the space filters screen
* Make the filter presentation mode liquidy, move the sheet to within the home screen.
* Address PR comments
Also removes an unused `parent` parameter that was missed when removing the parent name and includes some regenerated snapshots that were missed in the last PR.
* Refactor the bloom into a modifier.
It currently depends on the home screen context but that will be removed in the future.
* Add an initial implementation of the new bloom using an image on the navigation item's appearance.
* Add a feature flag to control the new bloom.
