From fba28ed42236c5ce2db6007536a677c1c0624981 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Mauro Romito Date: Wed, 7 Oct 2026 19:22:52 +0200 Subject: [PATCH] Fix the crash when signing back in after a soft logout The state machine routes `.createdUserSession` from `.softLogout` to `.signedIn`, but the AppCoordinator transition handler had no case for it, so signing back in from the soft logout screen hit the `fatalError("Unknown transition")` default. Set up the user session as a restored one (`isNewLogin: false`): the soft logout login reuses the same device ID and crypto store, and the onboarding flow still starts if anything is outstanding. --- ElementX/Sources/Application/AppCoordinator.swift | 2 ++ 1 file changed, 2 insertions(+) diff --git a/ElementX/Sources/Application/AppCoordinator.swift b/ElementX/Sources/Application/AppCoordinator.swift index 3b9820f78..1ca5458dd 100644 --- a/ElementX/Sources/Application/AppCoordinator.swift +++ b/ElementX/Sources/Application/AppCoordinator.swift @@ -643,6 +643,8 @@ class AppCoordinator: AppCoordinatorProtocol, AuthenticationFlowCoordinatorDeleg presentSplashScreen() case (.restoringSession, .createdUserSession, .signedIn): setupUserSession(isNewLogin: false) + case (.softLogout, .createdUserSession, .signedIn): + setupUserSession(isNewLogin: false) case (.signingOut, .signOut, .signingOut): // We can ignore signOut when already in the process of signing out,
